Built as a wedding present in 1893, Wheatleigh is nestled on 22 acres surrounded by pristine lakes and rolling mountains in the stunning Massachusetts countryside.

Designs were based on a 16th century Florentine palazzo, and artisans were brought in direct from Italy to work on the intricate carvings. It's because of this you can understand why this beautiful property has such an impact from the first moment you lay eyes on the stunning architecture.

Within it's walls, 19 sophisticated and luxurious rooms and suites complemented by antiques and custom design await you for that idyllic romantic New England escape.

The rooms will transport you to a time of grandeur, with luxurious amenities and opulent decor. You can choose from a range of options, including the "most luxurious small room in the world", to the two-storey Aviary suite with private covered terrace.

All guests, which ever room you select, entitles you to use of all the facilities, including the fitness room, massage room, tennis court and outdoor heated pool.

Dining at Wheatleigh is just an experience as your stay here. The Dining Room has earned it's place as one of the top restaurants in the country. They offer seasonal menus for those celebratory occasions including Thanksgiving and New Years Eve.

Over summer, they host family style BBQ with live jazz on the upper terrace.  Mouthwatering fresh grilled items from lobster to lamb can be enjoyed, all on a wood fired sausage grill complimented with wines and that signature cocktail.
