This private resort offers you a romantic getaway destination on Alabama's pristine Lewis Smith Lake. Here, not only can you experience the beauty of the country, but you can also enjoy the host of complimentary watersports and activities the B&B offers.

Nestled right on the lake bank, take the challenge of the paddle boards, or spend time just the two of you in the kayaks. They offer a large boat dock with a sun deck, as well as a swim deck. Guests also have use of the jet ski dock and the boat slip.

Just escape, and unwind at the Smith Lake Bed & Breakfast. If you want to just take it easy, there is plenty waiting to help you. Enjoy the hot tub, or relax in the sun room overlooking the dock. Meet other guests as you take advantage of the BBQ grills, and watch the stars come out at the firepit.

The nearby area is perfect for hiking and biking too.

Then of course, you have the accommodations. The property features two suites, as well as an airstream for something unique and wonderful.

The Dock Suite has a beautiful private covered porch, kitchenette, and really gives you that home away from home feel. It also comes with a gas logs fireplace to really set that romantic atmosphere.

The Loft Suite is a cross between an Alpine Ski Lodge and a beach cottage. This suite comes complete with kitchen too, as well as an outdoor fireplace and hot tub.

The Airstream, having spent many miles on the road, is a true delight. This vintage "Silver bullet" has been refurbished, and features it's own private deck. Definitely the perfect option for couples wanting to enjoy something a little different.

Just 70 miles south of Huntsville, and 50 miles north of Birmingham, you're close enough for it to be convenient, but far enough away that you can forget about everything and just be in the moment.
