WHY IS IT SO SPECIAL?

Imagine waking up to 155 stunning wooded acres around you, in your own private cabin. The North Texas Hill Country waking up with you too.
That is exactly what your time at The Hideaway Ranch would be.
This unique guest "Ranch-Inn" near Glen Rose, and transports you to the fictitious town of Buffalo Gulch. It's fun, it's beautiful, and it really is romantic! It's your own escape from everyday life, where it's all about you.
Buffalo Gulch, your home for your romantic stay, features the Lazy W Trading Post where you can pick up that snack or amazing souvenir. Perhaps you want to wander to the Buffalo Nickel Grill for that dining experience, or try out the Cantina del Sol where you can enjoy a romantic picnic!
There are 10 simple, yet charming and beautifully decorated cabins for you to choose from. Each of them channeling the magic of the Old West, totally surrounding you with nature.
All of the cabins give you your very own private porch to sit back and watch that big Texas sky come alive. Then, just check what other features the cabins offer. Some give you a roaring fireplace to sleep to at night. Others give you a bubbling Jacuzzi hot tub to sip champagne in.
All of them give you that feeling like you are the only two people on the ranch.
On Friday and Saturdays, you can tuck into a hearty Ranch breakfast and cowboy coffee at the Buffalo Nickel restaurant that we mentioned above. At just a small extra cost, it's the perfect start to your day.
If you love nature, and the peace and quiet, The Hideaway Ranch is certainly for you. If you call ahead to book for your stay, you could be enjoying a one hour guided tour of the ranch via horseback - the only way to truly see it embracing the Old West style!
It's a place that will transport you back to a time where life was more simple, and it's a ranch experience that you won't be forgetting in a very long time!
