The historic Fort Conde Inn is not only home to the AAA Four-Diamond status, but it's also the second oldest-house in Mobile. Two very impressive features from this very impressive Alabama inn.

 

Built in 1836, the building still retains it's authentic history whilst offering luxury and privacy for all who visit. It was once built on a cotton fortune, and is now the centerpiece of Fort Conde Village.

The breakfast lets you experience that true southern hospitality, with those true southern flavors. It's not breakfast without fresh-baked biscuits, or Seafood Benedict, and entrees that focus on the area's culture.

 

The accommodations in Fort Conde Inn are as richly layered as the history that surrounds you. There are cottages, thirteen rooms - including five suites - that each have their own character. The walls are lined with original artwork. Museum-quality antiques adorn the corners.

 

The luxury rooms can be found in a private area in the upstairs of the inn. You can wind down your days in front of the roaring fireplace and hand-painted Spanish tiles.

 

For something extra special, the historic carriage house features four stunning rooms. These open up to the Hall-Ford home's courtyard, and is beautiful to spend some hours.

 

The Margaret Suite features an oversized claw-foot tub where you can pop champagne, and a fireplace to wind down the day.

 

Fort Conde Inn is located in Fort Conde Village in the heart of downtown Mobile. Century oaks line the streets, and you can feel the stories that have been told since 1723 in every corner.
