All of the guest rooms at the Blue Max Inn have been custom designed to truly pamper you. Romantically appointed and extravagant king or queen beds await, along with private baths, and Old World charm meets modern touches to give you a truly unique and comfortable romantic stay. Most rooms also have working fireplaces which are beautifully atmospheric on those cooler evenings.

 

All guests are also treated to a full gourmet breakfast.

 

The nearby historic Chesapeake City is only a stone's throw away, and makes for a fascinating escape.

 

The 19th century village is located along the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, and was once the hub of the construction as the canal was being built. The Blue Max Inn, dating back to 1854, is just one of the many buildings in the area that date back to the 1800s, so you really can feel part of the history.

If you arrive by boat, there is a public anchorage within easy walking distance. If you bring a boat, you can park it in their off street parking area and launch it at the nearby free public ramp.
